The Aoibhneas Podcast


The Aoibhneas Podcast is a brand-new podcast from Aoibhneas, that aims to support listeners who may be experiencing domestic abuse or know someone experiencing domestic abuse to understand their rights and provide reassurance that there are supports and legal protections that victims can access for their safety and protection.


We hope to spread information and awareness around domestic abuse, its forms and impact and break the legal and court process down through conversations, using our experiences and survivors’ courageous stories to inform, support and reassure you the listener.


This Podcast has been funded though the Crime Victim Support, Department of Justice.

In the latest episode of The Aoibhneas Podcast, we begin hosting a series of community based conversations. We are facilitating women coming together and sharing their thoughts on domestic abuse and how they have seen, experienced or been impacted in their communities.

In this episode we visit Nail Kandi salon in Clondalkin to meet the staff and clients. We hear how the salon acts as a safe space for women to discuss their experiences within relationships, and of domestic abuse.
