Volunteer at Aoibhneas

At Aoibhneas, our volunteers play an important role in supporting our mission to promote safety, recovery and healing for women and children affected by domestic abuse.

Volunteers contribute to a range of activities, including holistic and therapeutic supports, as well as practical assistance such as preparing food hampers, packing clothing donations and helping with seasonal and special occasion gifts for families (Christmas, Birthdays, Mother’s Day, Confirmations, Communions).
Aoibhneas is also governed by a voluntary Board of Directors, made up of experienced and driven people across areas including human resources, leadership and management, finance, communications, social work, community development, legal, and engineering.
