"You have never really lived until you have done something for someone who can never repay you".

This year we would like to put the power back in womens hands whereby they can buy what they want and what they need for their children.

The concept while simple carries significant meaning for women who have not had the finanical freedom or means to exercise choice over what they buy for their family.

In 2017 we supported 404 families directly through access to refuge, drop in and outreach. This year we want to offersupport to families we identify in need that have engaged with our service throughout the year. Families resident in refuge or homeless accommodation face finanical constraints and poverty and your support will ensure they are assisted over the festive period.

We ask for you assistance in whatever way you can provide it, no donation is too small as every gift makes a big difference in someones life.

Suggested guidelines

For many of the children and families Aoibhneas works with, Christmas is a particularly difficult time. With your support, we hope to make a difference to their Christmas.

We hope to be able to give women vouchers where possible, so they can buy gifts for their children.

Gift guidelines

You can purchase a voucher or contact our service for suggestions.

You can donate through PayPal by securing logging on via our webiste, Aoibhneas.ie

If you would like to donate a gift, we suggest;
  • Gifts should be new.
  • We will be working directly with families to provide a wishlist.If you are interested in learning more about how you can help us, please contact our service.
  • Dontations can be dropped to our refuge center Monday to Friday 8am - 9.30pm.
  • Alternatively staff can faciliate collection. .
  • Gifts should be unwrapped.
  • We are more than happy to answer any questions you may have so please contact Julie or Sandra on 018670805.

Your donation funds our client services and allows us to provide gifts to families engaged with our service, without which we would not be in a position to do so.
